Japanese-made indigo-dyed and inspired men’s collection. Launched in 1996 by Japanese clothing store Okura as their in-house line, Blue Blue Japan uses traditional Japanese fabrics, dyes, and techniques to create historically-inspired modern garments. With a focus on indigo dyeing, often done by hand using pure (natural) indigo from the Persicaria tinctoria plant, the brand strives to make comfortable clothing that will age uniquely over many years of its owner’s life.
