TS(S) CORD PIPING COTTON TENCEL PLAID COLLARLESS SHIRT

TS(S)

The Most Underrated Trim Detail

Cord piping is the fucking best (Can I say that? Oh well, I just did.) and I don’t mean that with any latent sexual meaning, you pervs. It literally might be the most underrated trim detail used on clothing—so much so that if there were a yearly awards ceremony with a “Best Trim” (no double entendre) category, cord piping would never win, but would instead develop a cult following that would grow more zealous with each and every snub. Ten years ago, when I was in the Menswear Design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I once designed a shirt inspired by the clothing samurai wore on their off days that was almost entirely piped around its edges. This collarless shirt from ts(s) doesn’t take it to that extreme, but it definitely does cord piping more than enough justice to keep its most fanatical fans (like me) satisfied, at least for now.
