For When Spring Hasn’t Sprung

Winter can get pretty depressing when the sky’s a drab grey the whole day and everything gets dark by 4 p.m. I find myself dreaming often of springtime and gentle sunshine, of laying on my back in a patch of grass à la the Boyhood movie poster while The Radio Dept. plays softly in the background. Deep down, I know that this is pure fantasy because a.) all grass is pretty nasty and scratchy and bug-infested and b.) the last time I went outside to enjoy the nice weather I erupted in hives and had to go to the E.R. With that in mind, I’ll probably just wear this grass-colored turtleneck from De Bonne Facture. It’s infinitely less itchy than real grass and it’ll keep me cozy as I lie on my couch, awaiting spring.
