Taylor Swift is a Snake and So is This Jacket

Remember when Taylor Swift lied about Kanye namedropping her without permission in his song “Famous” and Kim Kardashian invoked swift vengeance by pulling out video footage of her approving the lyrics over the phone? I do. I’m petty and despise Taylor Swift, so I recall how I giddily scrolled through Twitter as the chaos unfolded. Everyone was calling Taylor Swift a snake and I was like, “Really? Y’all are just finding this out?” Anyways, I feel like snakes get trash-talked a lot in modern times. They’re called ugly and scary and are associated with people like Taylor Swift. In actuality, snakes can be quite beautiful—especially their skin, which is coveted material for shoes and bags. The texture of this De Bonne Facture Coach Jacket’s wool reminds me strangely of reptilian scales, and the genuine horn buttons kind of look like snake eyes. Whether you see it or not, and whatever your opinions are on snakes and Taylor Swift, I’m sure we can all agree regardless that this is a dope jacket.
