FEIT is a neo-luxury footwear and accessories company based in New York City. Founded by Australian brothers Tull & Josh Price in 2005, FEIT’s minimal modern aesthetic emphasizes construction techniques and quality materials. All FEIT products are handmade with natural biodegradable materials in limited quantities to ensure minimal environmental impact and maximum quality. All leathers are sourced from Italian tanneries and the majority of FEIT's models are made from a single piece of vegetable dyed leather using tannins and other ingredients found in vegetable matter such as tree bark, wood, leaves, fruit, and roots. The leather breathes as it would in nature. It is non-irritant, soft to the touch, ages richly over time, and biodegrades naturally. The leather remains neutral regardless of temperature, and does not retain sweat or odor, allowing FEIT shoes to be worn barefoot. Most of the shoes are hand-stretched over a Good Year welt, which allows them to be resoled. Each pair of shoes is signed and dated on the inside of the tongue by the master craftsmen who built them.
